Mayanti, the wife of cricketer Stuart Binny, last appeared on TV in March 2020 during South Africa’s tour to India. India was to host South Africa for three-match one-day series. The ODI in Dharamshala was called off due Indian government imposing a nationwide lockdown in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases. Since then Mayanti is on maternity leave.
While Brett Lee, part of the English commentary team for IPL took a charter flight to the Maldives for quarantine of 14 days after IPL 2021 was suspended indefinitely due to many COVID-19 cases in different teams.
