AIFF Awards 2025: Subhasish Bose Named Men’s Player Of The Year; Check List Of Winners

 All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced the winners of the AIFF Awards 2025 on Friday as the best football players of the season. 

Mohun Bagan Super Giant defender Subhasish Bose was named the Men’s Player of the Year, while East Bengal forward Soumya took home the Women’s Footballer of the Year at the AIFF Awards 2025 on Friday.

Under Subhasish Bose’s captaincy, Mohun Bagan became just the second team in history to complete the Indian Super League double by winning both the League Winners’ Shield and the ISL Cup last season.

Subhasish scored six goals and made one assist last season.

Only Sunil Chhetri (12) and Brison Fernandes (7) scored more goals than Subhasish Bose among Indian players in ISL 2024-25.

Soumya Guguloth, meanwhile, scored nine goals and played a crucial role in helping East Bengal win the Indian Women’s League (IWL) title.

FC Goa’s Brison Fernandes was named the Most Promising Men’s Player of the Year after enjoying a breakthrough campaign with the Gaurs, which culminated in them making it to the ISL 2024-25 semi-finals.

The 24-year-old winger scored seven goals and provided two assists, earning his debut with the national side.

Sreebhumi FC defender Thoibisana Chanu was named the Most Promising Women’s Player of the Year.

Meanwhile, Jamshedpur FC’s Khalid Jamil bagged the Men’s Coach of the Year for the second year in a row.

Sujata Kar was honored with the Women’s Coach of the Year award for guiding newly-promoted Sreebhumi FC to a third-place finish in the Indian Women’s League.

Shot-stopper Vishal Kaith of Mohun Bagan clinched the Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year award, while East Bengal’s Panthoi Chanu won the honour in women’s category for keeping the most clean sheets in the IWL last season.
