Manchester United Captain Harry Maguire suffered an ankle injury which may see him miss out on Europa League finals.

The incident happened in United’s 3-1win over Aston Villa on Sunday.

Harry Maguire was involved in an incident with Anwar El Ghazi in the second half of the game. After the tackle, Maguire was taken off from the field for a brief moment to assess the damage.

Maguire ran back onto the field of play and momentarily endeavored to continue the match, just to rapidly plunk down on the turf and motion towards Manchester United’s medical staff to help him out.

After the match, Solskjaer affirmed that Maguire had endured a physical issue.

“I hope Harry will be okay and fit for Europa finals, yet I don’t have a clue,” he said.

“We need to check it. It very well may exceed half a month or a month, we don’t have the foggiest idea.”

“It was his calf or lower leg.” said the coach.

The injury would also see him miss out on a club record of 72 consecutive appearances made.
