According to recent reports, Barcelona has begun contract negotiation talks with Lionel Messi.

It is said that the premise of an understanding between the club’s head Joan Laporta and Messi’s dad Jorge has occurred for this present week.

Yet no lasting financial offer can be made until the aftereffects of the club’s review are found.

Messi’s agreement at the Camp Nou lapses on 30 June and the Blaugrana can offer him a drawn-out agreement which will proceed with his relationship with the club after his playing days are finished.

A new report illustrated how the Argentine would just be offered half of his present compensation yet over a 10-year contract.

This means he would have a similar monetary responsibility, albeit this has not been affirmed as of now.

Last summer the world saw Messi wanting to leave Barcelona even though the then management led by Josep Maria Bartomeu forced him against his will to stay at Camp Nou.

This year, however, Leo’s contract ends and he’ll be a free agent.

Barcelona will surely look to secure the services of the World’s best player and a Barcelona legend.
