There have been plenty of rumors about where CR7 could be heading next
There have been plenty of rumors about where CR7 could be heading next, possibly one of the 32 teams taking part in this summer’s Club World Cup in the United States. And as FIFA have opened a special window for clubs who want to strengthen their squads ahead of the tournament, he could join another team before the window closes on June 10.
In theory, Cristiano could sign up to play in the Club World Cup with a participating team and then sign a new contract with another club for the 2025-26 season, (or even renew with Al-Nassr although from his post, that seems unlikely). As he is under contract until the end of next month, he would need to reach an agreement with Al-Nassr to release him early to play the Club World Cup.
He will be next in action to boost his goals in the Nations League semi-final against Germany on June 4.
