FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2025: Teams, Format, Fixtures, Venues

The FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2025 will get underway between 4 June – 27 July. Players from around the world will battle out for nearly two months for the title. 

This is the seventh edition of the FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League, an annual women’s international volleyball tournament. The final round will take place at the Atlas Arena in Łódź, Poland.

Following the results of the 2024 Challenger Cup, Czech Republic make their debut this edition, while Belgium made their comeback as the top FIVB ranked team at the Women’s Volleyball Nations League .

FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2025: Format

A total of 18 volleyball national teams will compete in the preliminary round until 13 July, followed by FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League Finals from 23-27 July in Łódź.

Each week, nations will play four matches against their pool opponents playing a total of 12 matches. Following the prelims, eight nations will head to the Finals.

As hosts, Poland are already assured of their spot in the finals. They are two-time FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League  bronze medalists. Should they finish 8th or higher, the top eight will qualify. But if Poland finish lower than 8th, then they will take the spot of the eighth-placed nation.
