Carlos Alcaraz’s streak began with a title run at the Italian Open, where he won six matches. He then defended his title at Roland-Garros in a tiring finale against Jannik Sinner, adding seven more matches to the streak. He then pushed his streak further to achieve the longest winning streak of his career at the Queen’s Club Championship after defeating Adam Walton and Munar.

The milestone holds significance because Alcaraz is usually seen as someone who’s only dominant on clay courts. This achievement came on a grass court, showcasing that he’s becoming a formidable force on the grass as well, which could lead him to defend his title at the upcoming Grand Slam, Wimbledon.
