The British Grand Prix 2025, once again, lived up to its name and delivered such drama. Colapinto doesn’t get to start the race at all, which Lawson ended up in a DNF after making contact with Ocon.

Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris are challenging each other for the third position as Norris tries to defend while Hamilton is desperately seeking a podium. As the race progressed, Bortoleto was forced to retire his car, bringing out a safety car, and as soon as the safety car ended, Oscar Piastri over takes the race leader, Max Verstappen in a stunning corner.

Then comes the best part of the race as the weather played a “rain roulette,” which forced teams to change their strategy. Piastri then goes off to the pit, and Norris takes the lead after passing Max Verstappen, but both Verstappen and Norris are called into the pits, and then Norris loses his position thanks to the unusually slow pit stop from McLaren. As the two McLarens were trying to get that 1-2 position, Hadjar went into the wall, bringing out another safety car.

Max ended up spinning on the track, bringing another safety car, which decided the end result of the race as Oscar Piastri pulled the brakes “erratically” according to the FIA, earning a 10-second penalty. This was followed by Yuki Tsunoda, also getting a 10-second penalty for making contact with Bearman. All of this was happening, while Hulkenberg was slowly working his way up from P19 to P3, which neither Max Verstappen nor Lewis Hamilton could stop before the final laps.

Oscar Piastri then served the penalty in the pit lane and yet somehow ended in the second position with a huge gap from Hulkenberg, at which point, he asked his team for a swap. However, McLaren stood strong on their ground and told him that no team orders would be followed for the race, which ended up giving Lando Norris the well-deserved victory at his home-race, Silverstone 2025 for the first time, while Piastri finished second and Hulkenberg finally got a podium after starting 239 races in his entire F1 career.
