India Tour of England: For the first time Men’s and Women’s Cricket team to travel on same Chartered Flight!

According to a report by InsideSport,  for the first time in Indian Cricket history; Virat Kohli’s men in blue and Mitali Raj’s women squad will travel in the same chartered flight to England.

Notably, India’s Men’s team has to play a World Test Final against New Zealand and a test series against England. Mitali’s team has to play one-off Test match, ODI & T20 series against England’s women Cricket Team.

“We have been asked to gather on May 19. After the hard quarantine, we will fly to  England in June,” one of the players travelling with the women’s team told InsideSport,” InsideSport quoted.

Sources say that Indian Cricket team will remain in strict isolation of two weeks. Although the players such as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma who already reside in Mumbai will be given one-week exemption provided they strictly follow the one-week isolation at home and don’t step out.

Team India will reach England on 2nd June and remain in Isolation there as well for 1 more week. Players will travel along with their families because it will be a long 3 months tour for men’s team.

WTC final is scheduled from 18th June to 22 June and test series against England will start from first week of August.
