Father of West Indies captain and all-rounder Kieron Pollard, who represented Mumbai Indians in the IPL, has passed away. He shared the news of his dismissal on his social media .

Sachin paid tribute by tweeting Veteran Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar also tweeted and paid tribute to Pollard’s father. He wrote, “Just got to know about the demise of your father . My deepest condolences to you and all your family members in this hour of grief. May God give you the strength to overcome this loss.”

Pollard is an important part of Mumbai Indians. Often, if Rohit Sharma is absent for the match, Pollard also appears to lead the Mumbai team. However, due to a tragic incident in his personal life, it is doubtful when he will come to India for the IPL. This is because foreign players as well as Indian players will have to be separated for IPL before entering Biobubble. So if Pollard gets a little late, he might miss some of the early matches.
