Since its inception in 2014, the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) has seen several stars rise through the ranks to become household names in sports. Among them are a few players whose careers are defined not only by individual brilliance but also by their association with multiple franchises, showcasing adaptability, experience, and leadership.

Here are top five players who played for most teams in PKL history:

Sandeep Narwal (6)

Sandeep Narwal established himself as a star all-rounder and had been one of the most popular faces of the PKL history.  Narwal has played for six franchises in the history of PKL including Patna Pirates, Telugu Titans, Puneri Paltan, U Mumba, Dabang Delhi, and U.P. Yoddhas.

Sandeep Narwal began his PKL career in the inaugural season with Patna Pirates and was with team till Season 3. He had an impact with his all-round performance as Patna Pirates were crowned the Season 3 champions. 

The all-rounder was then acquired by Telugu Titans in Season 4 before moving to Puneri Paltan for the next two editions. He also forged associations with U Mumba, Dabang Delhi K.C. and U.P. Yoddhas in subsequent PKL seasons. In his overall PKL career, Narwal played in 156 matches earning 645 points in his PKL career.

Prashanth Kumar Rai (6)

The second player in the list if Prashanth Kumar Rai, who has played for six franchises. The raider played for teams including Telugu Titans, Dabang Delhi, Haryana Steelers, U.P. Yoddhas, Patna Pirates, and Gujarat Giants.

Prashanth started his PKL journey with Telugu Titans in the first edition of the league and remained with them for the next two seasons. He went to Dabang Delhi K.C. in Season 4 before moving to Haryana Steelers for the next edition.

In Season 6, Prashanth Kumar Rai played for U.P. Yoddhas and returned to Haryana Steelers for the seventh edition. He was then roped in by Patna Pirates and even led the team in Season 8.  He switched to  Gujarat Giants in Season 9. He has amassed 500 raid points in his PKL career so far.

Prapanjan (6)

The other player to have played for six teams is Prapajan who played for U Mumba, Telugu Titans, Tamil Thalaivas, Gujarat Giants, and Bengal Warriors.

He began his PKL journey in Season 2 with U Mumba and stayed there till Season 3. He then moved to Telugu Titans in the fourth edition.  He went on to  represent Tamil Thalaivas in Season 5. In Season 6, he played for Gujarat Giants and spent his Season 7 with Bengal Warriors before returning to Tamil Thalaivas for Season 8. He found a home in Haryana Steelers in Season 9 and has been retained by the franchise as an Elite Retained Player (ERP) for Season 10. Prapanjan has accumulated 427 raid points in 103 Pro Kabaddi matches so far.

Surjeet Singh (5)

Surjeet Singh has played for five different teams in his PKL journey. The star defender featured for Puneri Paltan, U Mumba, Bengal Warriors, Tamil Thalaivas, and Telugu Titans.

His PKL career began in 2016 with Puneri Paltan in Season 3. He then switched to U Mumba in Season 4. In Season 5 and 6, he played for Bengal Warriors. Surjeet made a return to his first PKL team Puneri Paltan for Season 7 and was with Tamil Thalaivas in Season 8. He played for Telugu Titans in Season 9. He is among the all-time top defenders of PKL with 348 tackle points to his name.

Ravinder Pahal

Ravinder Pahal has played for five PKL  teams including Dabang Delhi, Puneri Paltan, Bengaluru Bulls, and Gujarat Giants.

The defender began his PKL career with Dabang Delhi K.C. in Season 1 and was a part of their squad for the next two seasons as well. He then went on to represent Puneri Paltan and Bengaluru Bulls in Season 4 and Season 5, respectively.

Pahal returned to the Delhi fold for Season 6 and Season 7 before joining Gujarat Giants for the eighth edition of PKL. The right cover was a member of Telugu Titans for Season 9. He scored 339 tackle points in his career.
