The Bangladesh Cricket Board has recently declared its lineup of players for participation in the Under-19 World Cup. The board has shown faith in a set of players who have been performing well over the past two years. The captain of the Under-19 side of Bangladesh is going to be Azizul Hakim, while Zawad Abrar has been chosen as his deputy.
Azizul Hakim & Zawad Abrar to Lead from the Front
Captain Azizul Hakim has been the most prominent young cricketer of Bangladesh since the last Under-19 World Cup, which was conducted in the year 2024.

- Among the only two players to have scored 1000+ runs during this time.
Also, an important bowling option with 20+ wickets, Vice-captain Zawad Abrar partners Hakim to become the second player in the team to breach the 1000-run barrier in the Under-19 World Cup matches.
