The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026 has crossed its first big milestone. The in-game qualifiers are now over, and thousands of teams from across India have finished their matches in hopes of moving one step closer to the main stage.

With this phase complete, all eyes are now on the result announcement, which will decide who continues the journey and whose run comes to an end.

What happened in the in-game qualifiers

During this round, every squad played 15 ranked matches on the selected maps. Out of these, only the best 10 games were counted for the final score. This system made the competition more about steady performance instead of just one lucky win.

Teams had to think carefully about when to take fights and when to play safe. Good rotations, smart positioning, and strong teamwork often mattered more than chasing kills. For many new players, this stage was also a big chance to show their skills on a national level.

BGIS 2026 qualifiers results update

As of now, the official leaderboard has not been released. Based on past tournaments, the full results are usually shared within a few days through BGMI and KRAFTON’s official channels.

Once the results go live, 1,016 teams will earn a place in Round 1 of BGIS 2026. These squads will move forward purely on the points they collected from their top 10 matches. The next stage will be even more intense, as only the most balanced and focused teams will be able to stay in the race.

What comes next for qualified teams

Round 1 will bring a fresh challenge. Teams will face stronger opponents, tighter lobbies, and less room for mistakes. This is where long-term planning, calm decision making, and clear communication start to make a real difference.

For fans, this is just the beginning of an exciting road. As BGIS 2026 moves ahead, new rivalries, surprise performers, and standout plays are sure to shape the story of this year’s biggest BGMI tournament.
