If we talk about Tim Seifert’s performance in the recently concluded T20 World Cup, the Kiwi batter scored more than 300 runs while opening the innings for New Zealand. His exact tally of runs stood at 326 in eight innings at an average of 46.57 and a strike rate of 166.32

The Record

Seifert broke a few records during his half-century against India in the final, which was the only positive that came out for New Zealand from that particular match in an otherwise disappointing effort with both bat and ball

Seifert finished the tournament as the second-highest run scorer, only behind Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan and became the first New Zealand batter to score 300 runs or more in a T20 World Cup edition.

To add to that, Seifert is the only wicketkeeper batter to score 300 runs in a single T20 World Cup edition.
