499– The second semifinal between India and England saw both teams cross the250 run mark with India coming out on top by seven runs. The total of 499 runs scored in the match is the second-highest match aggregate in T20I cricket
18– India’s left-handed opening batter Abhishek Sharma scored a fifty off just 18 balls in the final, which happens to be the second fastest half-century for India in the T20 World Cup and the overall fastest half-century in a T20 World Cup knockout game.
24– Sanju Samson hit 24 sixes in the recently concluded T20 World Cup and now holds the record for hitting the most sixes in a T20 World Cup edition.
33– New Zealand’s opening batter Finn Allen scored a century off just 33 balls, which is the fastest century by any batter in the history of the T20 World Cup. Allen broke the record of Chris Gayle, who got to his hundred in 47 balls against England in 2016.
146.00– Brian Bennett remained not out in four of thesix innings in which he batted, scoring 292 runs at an average of 146.00, which is the highest average in the T20 World Cup.
106– India hit 100 sixes in the 2026 T20 World Cup, which is the highest by any team in a T20I competition.
