Jake Paul appears to be poised to change the landscape of combat sports. After signing Francis Ngannou and Ronda Rousey for their respective MMA fights under his promotion, it looks like Paul is not stopping anytime soon.
Most recently, ‘The Problem Child’ has expressed his desire to sign Jon Jones to MVP. For those unaware, this comes after Jones publicly asked to be released from the UFC.
Jon Jones’ relationship with the UFC seems to be hanging by a thread currently. While Dana White insists Jones is retired, the former UFC heavyweight champion has been quite vocal about how the UFC were infact in conversation with him to fight at the White House card and even made a “low-ball” offer.
Speaking about Jones wanting to be released from the UFC, Jake Paul claimed that he would get Jones paid fairly by signing him to MVP. He said:
“Yeah, 100% Jon. You are always welcome to come over to MVP. We’ll get it popping, and we will get you paid what you deserve.”

Could we see Jon Jones vs Francis Ngannou under Jake Paul’s MVP?
Jon Jones vs Francis Ngannou at one point was the biggest fight to make in the UFC. Before Jones made his heavyweight debut, there were talks of him potentially fighting Ngannou. However, the fight never came to fruition, and fans were left without arguably the biggest heavyweight fight of all time.
As Ngannou went on to sign with the PFL and have a couple of boxing fights, Jones won the heavyweight title, defended it once, and now seems to be done at UFC. If Jake Paul does manage to sign Jones to MVP, a potential fight against Ngannou would most likely be on the cards again.
While fans would certainly like to see it happen, the chances of it happening completely depend upon Jones being released from the UFC. That said, it would be interesting to see if that could happen in the future.
