After nearly five successful years with GodLike Esports, Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral, who joined the organization on August 26, 2021, is reportedly preparing for a new journey. Community sources say the decision is “99% confirmed.” 

Jonathan is expected to start his own venture alongside Soham Rathod, known as SSR Vlogs, and another co-owner, with Madhur leading the team’s operations. The move marks an important turning point, as one of GodLike’s longest-serving stars looks ready to build something new.

Jonathan Amaral Plans New Venture After GodLike Esports

After spending nearly five years with GodLike, since joining on August 26, 2021, Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral is reportedly ready to move beyond being only a player and step into a founder’s role. Community sources call the decision 99% confirmed. 

He is expected to launch a new venture with Soham Rathod, known as SSR Vlogs, along with another co-owner, while Madhur will lead the team. The move shows Jonathan’s aim to build and guide a fresh esports journey.

Jonathan Gaming Drama Surrounds GodLike Esports at BGIS

During the BGIS 2026 Survival Stage, GodLike Esports faced heavy discussion after Jonathan Gaming unfollowed owner Chetan “Kronten” Chandgude and the team’s Instagram while being benched on Day 2. Management member Amar explained it was a strategic lineup experiment after a tough Semi-Finals run, not a personal issue. 

Reports said Jonathan respected the decision. With the BGMI transfer window nearing and exit rumors called 99% confirmed by sources, Zgod later assured fans that Jonathan would return for the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals lineup.

Jonathan Benching Story Shakes GodLike Esports BGIS Run

During BGIS 2026 Survival Stage on March 16–17, benched star fragger Jonathan Gaming was despite his strong reputation. Co-owner Amar called it a collective tactical strategy after a semi-final struggle where the team scored only 5 points in 4 matches. 

Godz played as the lineup topped Day 1 standings and secured Grand Finals qualification. Jonathan supported the decision professionally, briefly left for a Mumbai shoot, then returned as the full roster reunited for the Chennai Grand Finals.
