IPL 2026 Purple Cap And Orange Cap Standings: The IPL 2026 season is in full swing, with high-scoring games becoming a regular occurrence. The Lucknow Super Giants have achieved their second win of the tournament, courtesy of an amazing unbeaten 54 off only 27 balls created by uncapped Wonderboy Mukul Choudhary.
Despite solid performances by Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Kolkata Knight Riders were not able to defend their total.
The IPL 2026 season started at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, where last year’s champions, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, took on the Sunrisers Hyderabad, and all 14 matches have continued the trend of providing great entertainment value.
On April 9, Kolkata Knight Riders met with Lucknow Super Giants in Kolkata where both teams had some very good bowling performances. Sunil Narine was the standout bowler with figures of 1/13, but there were no bowlers who performed well enough to earn a place in the IPL 2026 Purple Cap top five.
