Updated IPL 2026 Points Table: The IPL 2026 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings on May 6th was a showdown between two of the best teams in the league as both were leading their respective divisions in the standings prior to the beginning of play that night.

At the end, SRH took control of the league by climbing to the top of the standings via a solid 33-run victory over PBKS at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
