The IPL 2026 is all set to get its second finalist today at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur as the Gujarat Titans will lock horns against the Rajasthan Royals in the high-voltage clash.

RR, who trashed the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator clash, will look to carry their winning momentum, while GT, who were handed an embarrassing 92-run defeat, will aim to bounce back stronger as they already boast an impressive squad, with the best bowling unit this season.

GT vs RR: 5 players who can change the match

Ahead of the high-voltage clash, let’s dive into this story and find out about the top five players who can change the match and guide their side to the final.

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi – Rajasthan Royals

The 15-year-old sensation has been a crucial player in the RR lineup throughout the season. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi can completely push the match in RR’s favor if he replicates his eliminator knock once again. The young prodigy will be standing strong between the Gujarat Titans and their dream to clinch their second IPL title. Sooryavanshi holds the top spot in the Orange cap list with 680 runs in 15 innings, which includes one century and four fifties. He has also smashed a total of 65 sixes this season, which is the most sixes in a single IPL edition.

2. Kagiso Rabada – Gujarat Titans

South Africa’s star pacer Kagiso Rabada has been leading GT’s bowling department with his sensational spells in every match. GT already comprises a brilliant bowling lineup, as five of their bowlers – Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Siraj, Rashid Khan, Jason Holder, and Prasidh Krishna have picked up at least 15 wickets this season. Kagiso Rabada ranks second on the orange cap list as he has picked up a total of 26 wickets across 15 matches.

3. Jofra Archer – Rajasthan Royals

Jofra Archer has been RR’s leading wicket taker this season as he ranks third on the purple cap list with 24 wickets across 15 matches. Not only Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s knock but also Jofra Archer’s impressive bowling figures guided the side to 47-runs win over SRH. Archer dismantled SRH’s top order very early because of which the Pat Cummins-led side couldn’t recover themselves and crumbled during the chase.

4. Shubman Gill – Gujarat Titans

Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill is another player who can change the match and put GT in the driver seat. Gill has been GT’s second leading run scorer as he amassed a total of 618 runs in 14 matches, despite missing one match due to muscle spasm. Gill will aim for a strong start and lay a strong foundation with the bat early on rather than depending on the middle order as Gujarat’s major concern has been their middle order throughout the IPL season.

5. Dhruv Jurel – Rajasthan Royals

Another RR player who might play a key role in guiding his side to the final is Dhruv Jurel. Jurel has been very consistent this season with the bat. He has delivered every single time RR was in a tricky position. Jurel is also RR’s second leading run-scorer this season with 508 runs this season at a strike rate of 155.35, which includes six half-centuries.
