The IPL 2026 has finally concluded, with all eyes shifting to the senior men’s team. New Zealand Cricket has announced an action-packed home summer schedule for both its men’s and women’s teams. What grabbed fans’ attention was the schedule between New Zealand and India.

The Men in Blue will tour New Zealand for five T20Is, five ODIs, and two Test matches in a 12-match series, which is the most extensive International tour hosted by the New Zealand cricket team.

The last time India toured New Zealand for Tests was in 2019, while it will be their first limited-overs tour since 2022. After the conclusion of the India tour, New Zealand’s men’s team will host Sri Lanka for an all-format series, which is scheduled for January 16, featuring three T20Is, three ODIs, and two Test matches.

Meanwhile, the New Zealand women’s team, who will kick off their ICC Women’s World Cup campaign in a few days, will host Bangladesh for a six-match limited-overs series from December 10 to 23. comprising three T20Is and three ODIs.

The White Ferns were scheduled for a tour against Australia in February – March 2027, but it was postponed due to the ICC Women’s Champions Trophy, which will take place in Sri Lanka in 2027
