Liverpool takes on Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Liverpool would want to continue their winning start in the Champions League where they beat AC Milan 3-2 at Anfield.

Klopp’s men dropped points against Brentford on the weekend but they have been displayed dominant displays so far this season. They top the premier league table and the Champions League table.

Sergi Conceicao’s men are in a similar form right now. Porto has not a single game in domestic and in Europe. They managed to get an impressive draw against Atletico Madrid on the first matchday. They would look to cause a similar upset against the Reds.

Liverpool

Thiago will miss the game with a calf injury he sustained against Crystal Palace. The Spaniard will not be available until the international break is over. Similarly, Naby Keita will also not play against Porto with an injury he picked up against Norwich in the League Cup.

Curtis Jones is likely to start in midfield.

Roberto Firmino was back on the bench against Brentford after suffering an injury against Chelsea in August. However, Diogo Jota has been in a good form as of late. As a result, Firmino is likely to start on the bench. Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Fabinho, and Henderson are all expected to start in attack and midfield. Trent Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, and Robertson are expected to complete the line-up.

Porto

Porto will be without first-choice goalkeeper Agustín Marchesín due to an injury. Meanwhile, veteran defender Pepe suffered an injury away at Atlético Madrid in the previous round of fixtures and he looks set to remain absent here. Chancel Mbemba is banned having been sent off against Atlético Madrid in the previous game.
