The International Cricket Council released the T20I, Test and ODI rankings on 31st March, Wednesday. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah slipped one place to fourth in the bowlers’ list. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has crossed nine places to move up to 11th position and there’s change in Shardul Thakur’s ranking after his performance in Ind vs Eng series.
Bumrah did not play in the limited-overs series against England, which led him to drop a place and move down to fourth place in the bowlers’ list with 690 points.
Fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets for 42 runs in the final match, upgrading nine places to take him to 11th position which is the best ranking since his 10th position in September 2017.
Shardul Thakur took four wickets for 67 runs in the same match, which has moved him from 93rd to 80th position.
However none of the Indian bowlers and all-rounders can be seen in the top 10 list in T20I Rankings. In the Test rankings, spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has retained the second spot after Australia’s Pat Cummins. In the all-rounder list, Ravindra Jadeja is placed third and Ashwin is in fourth place.
