Haris Rauf slaps teammate Kamran Ghulam in the PSL when he misses a catch, then hugs him to make amends.

Haris Rauf, a Pakistan fast bowler, was filmed slapping a teammate while celebrating a wicket after the latter missed a catch off him two deliveries earlier in the Pakistan Super League on Monday. Rauf dismissed Peshawar Zalmi’s Mohammad Harris off the fifth ball of his second over, and when his Lahore Qalandars teammates raced towards him to celebrate, he was seen slapping Kamran Ghulam. On the second ball of the same over, Ghulam had dropped Hazratullah Zazai.

Ghulam didn’t seem to mind as he grinned and remained in the team huddle, while the rest of Rauf’s teammates appeared unconcerned by the incident. Rauf was then spotted hugging Ghulam and apologising for the incident. Zalmi scored 158/7, and the Qalandars appeared to be in trouble in the chase when they were reduced to 94/6 in the 15th over. Captain Shaheen Afridi, on the other hand, made an improbable cameo with the bat to force the game into a Super Over. Mohammad Umar, who bowled the final over of the game, threw the first ball wide, following which Afridi smacked the first ball for four and the next two for sixes. Umar then got two dot balls in, but Afridi sent the last one hurtling for a six, forcing a Super Over. He scored 39 runs off 20 balls, hitting two fours and four sixes.
