Neymar has surpassed football legend Pele in most goal contributions for the World’s number-one International team i.e Brazil national football team. The Paris Saint-Germain’s forward (Neymar) scored his 74th goal on Monday against Japan when Brazil was up against Japan’s national football team in the International friendlies.

America didn’t play cup games like Europe’s ‘UEFA Nations League’ and thus the teams of America are currently playing International friendlies. After Messi scored 5 goals to beat Estonia in friendlies, his club teammate Neymar scored a goal for Brazil the next day as they won against Japan by 1-0. The only goal in the game came from the penalty spot and it was converted by none other than PSG forward Neymar Jr.

Neymar scored the penalty in the second half of the game and Brazil sealed a victory with that. Neymar reached a wonderful milestone in this game as he surpassed the great footballer Pele in most goal contributions. Pele had 77 goals and 48 assists for Brazil which equals 125 whereas Neymar has 74 goals and 52 assists which equal 126.

With a winning goal against Japan, Neymar went past legend Pele and it is like an achievement for him.
