French midfielder Paul Pogba has rejoined the Italian side named Juventus FC. The former Manchester United player has agreed to rejoin Juventus on a four-year contract. On Monday, 11th July, Italian giants (Juventus FC) made this signing official on all their social media handles and the club’s official website.
Manchester United wanted Paul to stay since the January transfer window and was offering him an improved fee. But the French star didn’t want to renew his contract with the Premier League side as he wanted some new challenge. Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri wanted to sign back Paul Pogba as he knows the player and felt the player can resolve their midfield problems.
Manchester United lost four of their midfielders this summer namely Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, and Jesse Lingard. Despite losing them, United haven’t signed a single midfielder in this summer transfer window so far. However, the club is in talks with Barcelona for signing their midfielder Frenkie de Jong since the start of the transfer window. Christian Eriksen has also agreed to join Manchester United but his medicals are still pending. Paul Pogba will be staying at his former club until 2026 at €8 million salary.
