Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has opened up about Virat Kohli who is not in a great touch lately. The former Indian opener feels the current form of the former Indian skipper (Virat Kohli) is nothing to do with his upcoming T20 World Cup selection. The T20 World Cup will be played later this year and some experts thinks Virat won’t be featuring in this due to his poor batting form.
Sunil Gavaskar is not worried about the former RCB captain (Virat Kohli) and feels there are some players who haven’t scored runs and they are needs to be taken care of by selectors before the World Cup.
“There is a saying that form is temporary, class is permanent. I am not too worried about Virat Kohli’s place in T20 World Cup. There are others too who haven’t scored runs,” said Sunil Gavaskar to Sports Tak.
Sunil Gavaskar backed Virat Kohli and feels he will find his form back. He also pointed out some players who too haven’t scored much runs lately. He feels Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s form is not talked about much who is also not in his very best of form.
