English forward Raheem Sterling has joined Chelsea FC on a five-year deal. Raheem Sterling was one of Chelsea’s main target this summer and they have finally managed to bring the player to Stamford Bridge. The English forward wanted to leave his former club Manchester City this summer as City brought in two new strikers named Julian Alvarez from River Plate and Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

The deal between the clubs was agreed a few days ago as reported by Fabrizio Romano. Chelsea FC confirmed it on Wednesday, 13 July on all their social media handles and also their official website. Chelsea also signed a new defender this summer named Kalidou Koulibaly from the Serie A side Napoli FC. Chelsea will not stop after this as they are looking to sign another centre-back this summer. Manchester City’s central defender Nathan Ake is the option the club looking at.

Nathan Ake also reportedly wants to join Manchester City as he isn’t getting much game time in the Premier League champion side. It will be interesting to see whether Chelsea FC will buy Nathan Ake.
