Is Deepak Hooda turning out to be a lucky factor for the team India? Ever since his international debut, Deepak has played 16 matches for the team across formats and interestingly, India has won all of them, which is a world record for any player in international cricket.

So far, India won seven ODIs and nine T20Is after picking Hooda in the team. Romania’s Satvik Nadigotla held the record of 15 matches won since his debut while South Africa star David Miller and Romania’s Shantanu Vashist enjoyed winning streaks of 13 games since their first international match.

Meanwhile, Hooda picked up a wicket and scored 25 with the bat as India chased down the 162-run target with just a little less than half their overs remaining in the second ODI against Zimbabwe. This was the seventh consecutive time that India bowled Zimbabwe out.

Sanju Samson top-scored with an unbeaten 43, while Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill also scored 33 runs apiece.

Deepak Hooda plays for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL and Rajasthan in the Ranji Trophy. He scored 140 runs from 7 ODIs with an average of 35 for team India while in T20Is he registered 274 runs from nine matches with an impressive average of 54.80. The right-hander also played 95 IPL matches and scored 1236 runs at 20.30 average.
