Former Manchester United player Edinson Cavani is all set to join Valencia on a free transfer this summer. The summer transfer window is still open and there can be many deals still be done before it ends on 1st September. Edinson Cavani waited so long to choose a new club for him. Cavani was a free agent after he played his last game for Manchester United last season.
In 2020/21 when Edinson Cavani joined the side, he played very well and also scored goals in double figures for the Red devils. Edinson Cavani also gave up his number 7 jersey when Cristiano Ronaldo joined the side last season’s (2021/22) summer transfer window. Edinson Cavani was then given the vacant No.21 jersey which is still vacant.
The striker wanted the move to La Liga and thus he chose Valencia FC. It was completely player’s decison to move to the La Liga side. Edinson Cavani didn’t play much games for Manchester United last season after Ronaldo joined back the club despite having a great season in Number 7.
