- Andrew Tye (Perth Scorchers)- BBL 2016/17 and 2017/18 (Two hat-tricks)
The cricketer to take up the second hat-trick was Andrew Tye. He went on to score this hat-trick in the season of 2016/17, and it was a match between Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat where he successfully dismissed Mitchell Swepson, Mark Steketee, and Jack Wildermuth. Moreover, he is said to score another hat-trick in the next season (2017/18). The player successfully managed to dismiss Daniel Sams, Sean Abbott and Steve O’Keefe in a competition against the Sydney Sixers.
- Josh Lalor (Brisbane Heat) – 2018/19 season
Josh Lalor is considered to pick the fourth hat-trick in the 2018/19 season of Big Bash League. According to reports, he went to register this hat-trick in a match between the Brisbane Heat and Perth Scorchers. However, he registered the fourth hat-trick by dismissing players like Matthew Kelly and Andrew Tye, afterward he managed to dismiss Nick Hobson off the first ball of the 18th over.
- Rashid Khan (Adelaide Strikers) – 2019/20 season
Widely recognised as the Afghan superstar, Rashid Khan is one among the bowlers to have taken a hat-trick in the Big Bash tournament. However, this happened in a battle between the Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Sixers, where he managed to dismiss players like Jack Edwards, James Vince, and Jordan Silk. By far, he is considered as a challenge for any batsman, because of his ability to beat anyone. Furthermore, Rashid completed this milestone in the 2019/20 season of Big Bash League.
