Following Shaun Marsh in the inaugural IPL 2009 season, Matthew Hayden took home the prize in the 2010 campaign. Shikhar Dhawan
Left-handed hitter Shikhar Dhawan has scored 6086 runs in 199 games, which is a career record. When Dhawan scored back-to-back hundreds against Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings (then known as Kings XI Punjab) in October 2020, he became the first batsman in IPL history to do so. He joins Warner as yet another exceptional player to score more than 5000 runs.

In 170 games, De Villiers has run for 5162 runs. He is the most effective player for the RCB with five partnerships of 100 or more and 200 or more with captain Kohli. AB de Villiers excels as a wicketkeeper despite being recognised for winning games.

He stopped competing in the 2018 season.
