Australian cricketer Mitchell Aaron Starc, born on January 30, 1990, represents Australia and New South Wales in international competition. Starc is a left-handed batsman and fast bowler who plays for Australia in all three of the most popular forms of international cricket: the Test Match, the One Day International, and the Twenty20 International. In 2009, at 19, Starc made his First Class debut for New South Wales, his native state. He also continued to play for his club, Western Suburbs, and the 2nd XI of his state. As an all-around bowler on the home circuit, he made remarkable progress. On October 20, 2010, Starc made his international debut in an ODI against India at Visakhapatnam. He participated in the sole game of the series and made his Test debut against New Zealand in Brisbane three months later.
In his second Test series, he could not perform extraordinarily well with the ball, but he scored 99 runs against the Indian national cricket team. Then, he became the first batter batting below No. 8 to face over 100 balls in both innings. In 2015, he had the highest rating of any bowler in One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and was widely considered one of the best limited-overs bowlers of all time. While playing for Australia at the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, Mitchell Starc was the tournament’s biggest surprise. He rattled most of the world’s batting attacks with his deadly bouncers and introduced a variety of Yorkers.
