On the eighth days of IPL 2021, CSK faced off against Punjab Kings here at Wankhede stadium, coming off a loss in their first match, Chennai was looking for redemption, CSK won the toss and chose to bowl, Deepak Chahar went on an amazing four-wicket haul to restrict Punjab from hitting big during the powerplay, causing Punjab distress in batting and finally restricting them to 106 runs.

CSK chased down the score of 107 with ease, although they didn’t play aggressively,  as some of their batsmen also struggled to score, but Moeen Ali’s timely 46 runs and du Plessis’s 36 runs provided a sturdy partnership for the team as they easily sailed towards victory.

After Punjab’s poor batting performance against CSK today which turned out to be one of the main reasons for their loss, also helped CSK climb to the second position on the points table with the help of NRR, Wasim Jaffer shared a meme after the matching reply to the same old tweet by Salman Khan that made fans from both sides laugh and applaud his comical sense.

The meme depicts a popular scene from Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s film where he can be seen asking his friends to change the topic as he is not interested in talking about it anymore, Wasim Jaffer related this to Salman’s tweet and meaning that he is not interested in talking about the team winning after their poor performance against CSK today.
