Delhi Capitals felt the heat of KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal’s partnership of 122 runs as it laid a strong foundation for Punjab Kings and put the bowling lineup of Delhi Capitals under intense pressure to take the wicket of any one of the players.
Though Wankhede has behaved very deceptively with batsmen in the past few games today seemed like an exception for the PBKS batsmen as they washed out the bowling attack of Delhi completely with the partnership of Rahul and Mayank. No bowler of Delhi could stop the storm. Delhi’s bowling attack was being attacked by both sides on the pitch.
As far as the premier league is concerned Punjab has mostly dominated Delhi. The two teams have met 26 times where Punjab has won 15 times whereas, Delhi has managed to emerge victorious only 11 times.
