AB De Villiers hit the Kolkata Knight Riders bowlers all over the park as he got his team past the 200 run mark setting off a huge total in front of KKR batsmen.

The South African completed his 50 in just balls and dominated over the bowlers. RCB went off to a poor start losing both their openers for just nine runs before Maxwell and Padikkal came to the rescue. After losing Padikkal at 95, the protean walked in and built a partnership with Maxwell.

After losing Maxwell at 148 in the 17th over, the team needed an essential finish to the innings and it was all down to De Villiers as he took over KKR’s one of leading bowlers Andre Russell, and destroyed the bowling lineup completely.

The last over saw De Villiers hitting 20 runs where he hit 3 fours and 1 six off Russell’s over.

The former Proteas cricketer scored an unbeaten 76 of just 34 balls which included 3 sixes and 9 fours. His clinical performance has surely put RCB in a commanding position.
