Four teams from Team Great Britain will compete in three different titles at the Global Esports Games in 2022, according to a statement from British Esports, the national organization created to foster grassroots esports in the UK. The Global Esports Federation’s premier competitive esports event is the Global Esports Games 2022, which will be held in Istanbul, Turkey. Teams representing many different nationalities play in esports games including Dota 2, eFootball, Street Fighter V, and Player Unknown Battlegrounds Mobile.

A Detailed Insight About British Esports Association

A National Esports Performance Campus (NEPC) in Sunderland is being planned, according to the British Esports Association (BEA). According to the press release, BEA has pledged “many million pounds” to Sunderland. This led to the purchase of a shop space close to the city’s Stadium of Light football stadium.

The new campus will reportedly offer training courses for coaches and competitors in the esports industry. In addition, it will feature courses made especially for esports, performance spaces, streaming booths, and arena space.

BEA plans to use the space to hold regular esports competitions, neighbourhood contests, and summer programs. The Great Britain esports squad, which recently competed in the Global Esports Games in Singapore, will use the site as a training facility.
