IPL 2025 – Alyssa Healy Teases Travis Head Over His Struggles Against Mitchell Starc: Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc delivered a match-winning performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 30. He took five wickets, restricting SRH to just 163 runs in the first innings.

Delhi Capitals (DC) comfortably won the match by seven wickets, but one key highlight was Travis Head’s struggle against Starc. Head started strong, hitting two boundaries in the first over, but Starc had the last laugh by dismissing him later.
During a discussion about the player battle on a LiSTNR podcast, the host asked Australian cricketer Alyssa Healy, who is also Mitchell Starc’s wife, if she was aware of this rivalry.

Alyssa Healy Acknowledges the Rivalry
Alyssa Healy confidently confirmed this, saying that Mitchell Starc knows about it and often reminds Head. She revealed that Head tries to avoid facing Starc, but somehow, he always ends up playing against him and getting out.
“Yeah Mitch Mitch knows it I dare say he reminds Trav of it as well, and it is in Trav’s head because Trav normally faces the first ball, and every time it’s Mitch opening the ball, he doesn’t, but Mitch gets stuck into him, like you got to come down here eventually mate So you may as well get it over and done with But um yeah you sure as a batter I know exactly who gets me out a lot So you try and avoid them where possible And bad luck Trav,” said Healy.
