Oldest Debutants in Cricket History: Andrew Brownlee Joins Elite Group

This achievement makes Andrew Brownlee the first male cricketer to debut in international cricket after the age of 60. He joins an exclusive group of the oldest debutants in various formats, including England’s James Southerton, who played his first Test match at 49 years and 119 days, and the Netherlands’ N.E. Clarke, who made his ODI debut at 47 years and 240 days.

Pakistan’s Miran Bakhsh and India’s Rustomji Jamshedji are also among the oldest players to make their international debuts after the age of 60.
