From the 30 matches that they have played, they have only managed to win 10 games. The injury crisis has been the main problem for Ange but so has been the dismal performances by the team available as well.

This season they have conceded 44 goals in 30 matches, averaging 1.47 goals per game. The team has only 6 clean sheets in 30 matches and for most of them, Vicario should be applauded as he is gigantic in crunch situations and is excellent in shot-stopping.

The recent loss to Chelsea rubs the wound for Spurs as they are sitting at 14th position in the league. This season has been filled with injuries and has not looked great for Postecoglou who infamously regards himself as a second season wonder but has failed miserably to inspire his team to silverware in this season making him go trophyless in his second season here.

He finished last season at the 5th place

He finished last season at the 5th place, which gave motivation to the White Hart Lane fans to dream of finishing top 4 and seriously contending for silverware. Last season’s start was also very dreamy as Postecoglou looked invincible at the starting of the season but later suffered losses which ended the Premier league title hopes.

Dragusin and Archie Gray had to play as the Centre backs

Looking back at last season, this season has been very different for the Spurs who have continued to play their high intensity football but the players have not been able to sustain this physicality and intensity for such a long time resulting in major injuries to players regularly.

This injury crisis has popped up question marks on Postecoglou’s job as this season has been not up to the standards but you can feel for him as he has to deal with prominent injuries and to the most important players as well. For a long stretch, Dragusin and Archie Gray had to play as the centre backs.
