Inter Milan is having a historic season this year. They are sitting at the first position in Serie A with 75 points. 2nd on the table is their city rivals A.C.Milan at 66. Atlanta who has won all the previous 5 matches and defeated Juventus recently has climbed above the champions and is surprisingly sitting at the 3rd spot with 64 points. Juventus are having the worst season since 2009. They are at the 4th position with 62 points and if they continue their form they might lose their chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

Antonio Conte has proved to be a blessing for the Milan club. The team has so far only lost twice in the season. They are almost guaranteed to win the Scudetto this year. If they win their remaining 7 games they can record 96 points which would be the 2nd highest points by the club in its history. The current record stands at 97.

Why Antonio Conte has been so successful at Inter Milan this time? Before Inter, Conte has managed Arezzo, Bari, Atlanta, Sienna, the Italian National team, Juventus, and Chelsea. He won multiple trophies with Juventus and Chelsea. With Juventus, he won 3 Serie A titles consecutively: 2011–12, 2012–13, 2013–14, and Super Coppa Italiana: 2012, 2013. Chelsea was no exception as he won the Premier League season 2016-2017. He received several individual honors like Premier League Manager of the Month: October 2016, November 2016, December 2016], London Football Awards for Manager of the Year: 2017, Premier League Manager of the Season: 2016–17.

Antonio Conte himself was one of the best Italian box-to-box midfielders. He used very similar players in the teams he managed. Players who can create from deep midfield. Players like Andrea Pirlo In Juventus and players like Brozovich and Vidal in Inter. He generally uses a 3-5-2 formation. With the most relevant role of the midfielders and wingbacks. The wing-backs are up and down the pitch all the time doing their defensive as well as attacking duties. Whereas the 2 deep-lying midfielders help in creating goals. The 3 center-backs are always behind and are very physical and have remarkable defensive capabilities.

With Inter, Conte has a squad full of world-class players. In the front Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku keep scoring goals for fun. Nicolo Barella, Brozovich, Vidal, Hakimi, and Young form a dynamic midfield of 5. De Vrij, Skriniar, and Bastoni make up their defense with a wall of handanovic behind. This squad is capable of winning a lot of trophies. Serie A this year would be the starting as Inter with Conte will probably win many more prestigious trophies in the coming future.
