The Aquatics GB Swimming Championships kick-started on April 15 concluded on April 20 April. This is the first national championships of the new Olympic cycle, ahead of LA 2028.
The swimming events were held at the London Aquatics Centre, the venue for the swimming competitions at London 2012. The Aquatics GB Swimming Championships also served as a trial for the world championships in Singapore from 11 July to 3 August.
National champion bragging rights are up for grabs, but the meet also doubles as a trial for the world championships in Singapore from 11 July to 3 August. Qualifying standards need to be met and a finish in the top two in their event will ensure they’ve done all they can to book their ticket to Southeast Asia.
