Arc Raiders Playtest: How To Get Early Access

Arc Raiders is a new third-person shooter that mixes PvP and PvE action in a futuristic world filled with robotic enemies known as ARC. Developed by Embark Studios, this game lets players fight to survive while dealing with threats from both enemies and other players.

While the game doesn’t have a full release date yet, an early access playtest is live and players can join in for free by following a few simple steps.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to get access and start playing.

How To Join the Arc Raiders Playtest

There are three main ways to join the Arc Raiders playtest:

1. Request Access via Steam

Here’s how to join through Steam:

• Open your Steam app or go to the Steam website.
• Search for Arc Raiders in the store.
• Click on the game’s page.
• Scroll down and look for the “Request Access” button.
• Click it and confirm your request.

After that, just wait. If your request is approved, you’ll get an email, and the game will appear in your Steam library for download.

2. Get an Invite from a Friend

If one of your friends already has access, they can help you out.

Ask them to:

• Play at least four rounds of the game.
• Spend at least 30 minutes actively playing (just sitting in the main menu doesn’t count).

Once they meet the requirements, they’ll be allowed to invite two friends to the playtest. Have them send you an invite and you’re in!

3. Sign Up Through the Official Website

You can also apply directly on the official Arc Raiders website.

Steps:

• Go to the Arc Raiders official website.
• Click “Sign up for Tech Test 2”.
• Choose your platform (PC, console, etc.).
• Connect your Embark ID.
• Fill out a quick survey.

Once done, you’ve applied for the test. If selected, you’ll be notified through the contact info you provide.
