Cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar, along with his family, visited the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Modi, on Tuesday to personally invite the latter to the Arjun Tendulkar Wedding. The former Indian captain posted pictures of the meeting on social media to thank Mr. Modi for the former’s blessings and advice for the newly-wed couple.
Sachin went on to say that it was an honour to invite the PM via this invitation to the wedding of Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok by expressing gratitude to PM Modi for his thoughtful advice and wishes.
Invitation Extended to Rahul Gandhi
As a part of the wedding invitations, the Tendulkar family also met with the Leader of the Opposition Mr. Rahul Gandhi. Sharing the photo on social media, Sachin Tendulkar said that the family was pleased to invite him in person to the wedding for the Arjun Tendulkar Wedding:
Meeting with President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan
The families of Tendulkar and Ghai visited Rashtrapati Bhavan to extend an invitation to President Droupadi Murmu to attend the wedding. Sachin Tendulkar said that it was his second visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan and the President’s “gracious hospitality and her heart-felt wishes for Arjun & Saaniya” had left him amazed.

Continuing the series of personal invitations, Sachin Tendulkar also called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Sharing photographs from the meet, he thanked the senior leader for the warmth shown to his family, and for extending blessings ahead of the Arjun Tendulkar Wedding.

Arjun Tendulkar Wedding: Dates and Celebrations
The celebrations of the Arjun Tendulkar Wedding are to start on the 3rd of March, with the wedding on the 5th of March and the attendance of close friends and family members.
Arjun Tendulkar, a 26-year-old left-arm pacer, was engaged to Saaniya Chandhok in August last year. Saaniya is the granddaughter of well-known businessperson Ravi Ghai.
