Noni Madueke to Arsenal: £50m Deal Agreed as Gunners Snap Up Chelsea Winger
London’s red side just landed a flashy new winger and, plot twist, he used to be one of Spurs’ own.
Arsenal have agreed a deal worth over £50 million to sign Noni Madueke from Chelsea, with the 23-year-old winger set to pen a five-year contract at the Emirates. Personal terms? Already sorted. Medical? Just around the corner. All that’s left is for Chelsea to finish their Club World Cup business and hand over the keys.

According to the ever-reliable Fabrizio Romano, the final fee is around £52m including add-ons
According to the ever-reliable Fabrizio Romano, the final fee is around £52m including add-ons, as Mikel Arteta looks to add more firepower and depth to his frontline, particularly on that right wing, where Bukayo Saka has basically been running marathons for the past two seasons.
🚨💣 EXCLUSIVE: Noni Madueke to Arsenal, here we go! Fee agreed in excess of £50m with add-ons included, green light from Chelsea.

Madueke, a product of the Tottenham Hotspur academy (yeah, it’s spicy), joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven back in January 2023. In his time with the Blues, he made 92 appearances and registered 29 goal contributions, showing glimpses of brilliance but never quite locking down a starting spot in a jam-packed Chelsea attack.
Now, with Chelsea’s FFP alarm bells ringing and Champions League registration looming, offloading a few names became a necessity, and Arsenal were happy to take advantage.

The move makes sense all around:
- Arsenal get a pacey, dynamic winger to ease Saka’s workload.
- Madueke gets more game time and a fresh start.
- Chelsea get some much-needed cash flow for UEFA balance sheets.
Madueke is expected to undergo his medical and complete the paperwork before Arsenal jet off for pre-season. With Saka, Martinelli, and now Madueke in the mix, Arteta’s wing options just got a serious upgrade.
Stay tuned, the Emirates is about to get even more electric.
