Arsenal takes on an in-form Brighton side in the premier league away from home. The sea-gulls have lost one game all season and has 13 points from the available 16. Meanwhile, Arsenal themselves are in a good run of form, having won their last four games. They beat Tottenham last weekend at home 3-1 in what was an incredible team performance.
Arteta’s side has been looking good ever since the main players have returned from injuries. The defense looked shored up in last few games, with Ben White and Gabriel looking like a good partnership complementing each other. Undoubtedly, Tomiyasu has been a stand-out addition to the Gunners, the Japanese full-back hardly putting a foot wrong. Ramsdale is expected to start ahead of German, Leno after putting on impressive displays.
Arsenal will miss Granit Xhaka through injury along with Elneny.
Arteta on Xhaka missing the game:
Well, he is a big loss. He’s a big big loss. We’re going to lose him for a while. Will try to keep him as close as possible to the team. We are here to help him and I’m sure we’ll find some ways around it because we have some really good players who can do the job.
Other than that Arsenal look to have a fully fit squad.
Meanwhile, Brighton also has one absentee through injury. Graham Potter’s side will miss Bisssouma through injury. Other than that he has a fully fit Brighton squad to face Arsenal.
Arsenal even with a victory will not be able to overtake Brighton in the table. That’s how impressive the seagulls have been in the season. However, Arteta’s men cannot dwell on the standing and will have to fight and grab three points to continue their good run of form.
