Artistic Swimming World Cup Paris 2025: Key Olympians To Watch

The new cycle of artistic swimming is set to begin with its first major competition. Six months after the Olympic Games, the sports return to Paris. 

The first Artistic Swimming World Cup of four in the 2025 season will get underway from 28 February to 2 March at the Piscine Georges Vallerey, 100 years after hosting the swimming events at Paris Olympics 1924.

Following the competition in the City of Love, the World Cup then heads to Somabay, Egypt (11-13 April), Markham, Canada (1-3 May), and concludes with the super final in Xi’an, People’s Republic of China from 13-15 June.

The Artistic Swimming World Cup Paris will witness some of the 2024 Olympics stars taking to the pool.  Nine team Olympic medallists will be competing at the event. Six of eight of Spain’s Olympic bronze-medal winning team will participate, with Txell Ferré, Marina García Polo, Lilou Lluís Valette, Alisa Ozhogina, Paula Ramírez and Iris Tió, all competing.

Olympian Tammy Cleland-McGregor takes on the leadership mantle for the USA, with her charges taking on the technical and acrobatic finals at Artistic Swimming World Cup Paris.

People’s Republic of China, who won first-ever Olympic artistic swimming gold medals, claiming victory in both the team, and duet will be represented by Guo Muye and Xu Huiyan.

Higa Moe, the winner of Japan’s first world title in artistic swimming in 22 years after taking the tech duet title at Fukuoka 2023, is also in the squad at Artistic Swimming World Cup Paris.
