In the fourth Test against Australia in Ahmedabad, Virat Kohli finally snaps a four-year century drought, scoring his 28th century in tests and 75th century overall. Steve Smith put Kohli under pressure by limiting his scoring options, but Kohli displayed patience and tenacity in the face of the challenge.

Internet users praised Virat Kohli in droves on social media. Virat Kohli’s frequent trips to temples have been credited by many social media users with advancing his cricket career. Before the fourth test against Australia, Virat Kohli reportedly paid a visit to the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain.

It appears that Virat Kohli has encouraged young people to go to temples more frequently. Sachin Tendulkar, a cricketing deity, has also decided to visit temples more frequently after being inspired by Virat Kohli’s performance.

A photograph of Sachin Tendulkar participating in Puja rituals in a temple has gone viral. Sachin said, “bilkul riks nahi lene ka baba,” to The Fauxy.
