Asia Cup 2022: Rohit Sharma becomes the only Indian to complete 3500 runs in T20I

Indian cricket team are batting first against Hong Kong in their second game of the Asia Cup 2022.

Indian cricket team are up against Hong Kong in the second game of the Asia Cup 2022 on Wednesday, 31st August. In the current game, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma set a new milestone of completing 3500 runs in T20I format for India. Rohit Sharma becomes the only Indian to complete 3500 runs in T20 international.

Indian team lost the toss and was made to bat first by Hong Kong. Rohit Sharma came on to bat along with KL Rahul in this ongoing match. The opening partnership was good between the two but Rohit gave away his wicket on 21 runs and had to walk back to the pavilion.

After Rohit, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli played well and also made a fifty-run partnership before KL Rahul was dismissed for 35 runs. Indian skipper Rohit has done quite a good job in T20I format for India and thus he was the first to reach this run mark for India. India will be looking to win the second game of the Asia Cup as well by beating Hong Kong on Wednesday.
