English Premier League side Aston Villa have broke down their negotiations with the Championship side Watford for Ismaila Sarr. The deal was progressing well but it was collapsed as reported by Sky Sports on Monday, 22nd August. There were so many stumbling blocks and thus Villa decided to back off from this deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal was close to done as the agreement between the two clubs i.e. Aston Villa and Watford were done and the paperworks were ready to be signed. When both the parties sat down to discuss the conditions of the deal, it gets collapsed as it was reported that Watford wanted some of the young stars of Aston Villa in the deal.

The deal between Aston Villa and Watford for Ismaila Sarr was of €25 million plus add-ons, but now the deal is set to be collapsed after the parties broke down the conversation in between. Steven Gerrard (Aston Villa’s manager) wanted the deal to happen but due to this now he have given a signal to back off as reported by Sky Sports on Monday.
